In July of 2007 I went as part of a film crew to Rwanda. While I was there, documenting the activities of Engineers Without Borders, Madison-Wisconsin chapter, I recorded a Catholic mass at the Muramba Parish, a small rural community in northwest Rwanda. These community gatherings are huge, with thousands of people converging around the church listening, singing, and worshipping. I was sitting in the back of the church surrounded mostly by children, so that's why their voices are the most prominent on the recording. None of this would have been possible without EWB and the efforts of people like Joe Sacco, John Lee,Tim Miller, Jean Paul Eyadema, and especially the congregation and the Sisters of Muramba Parish.
